I've always been torn between Jeremy Brett and Ian Richardson, but I think I'll go with Richardson for this one because he was my first small-screen Holmes and perhaps the only actor who has portrayed both Holmes and Dr. Joe Bell (making the scene with the watch in both series even greater) And I simply love the two Richardson episodes! :)
